What do you think of when with the phrase, “Life-changing event?” Marriage, a birth, buying a house, perhaps even a death? Yesterday I experienced what I would call a “life-changing event” or “perspective-changing event” when I visited an ‘Internally Displaced Peoples’ camp’ just outside of our neighboring city of Bunia.

I’ll be home for Christmas, if only in my dreams.
